On Wednesday, July 9th, 2025, our Village President, Mark Schall, submitted an immediate resignation. In accordance with Village ordinances, on July 11th, 2025, the Village Board appointed Roger Mellem as the Interim President of the Village of North Bay to serve for the remainder of the 2 year term. As a former village president, Mr. Mellem possesses a profound understanding of our community’s needs and aspirations. His experience in North Bay’s governance will be instrumental in guiding the village forward.

The Village Board of Trustees (BOT) meeting previously scheduled for 7 PM on Monday, July 14th, 2025 has been moved to meet at 7 PM on Thursday, July 17th, 2025 at Village. The Agenda will be posted at least 24 hours in advance.

As of 11:30 AM July 9th, 2025, the agenda for the July 11th, 2025 stand up meeting of the Board of Trustees is currently being changed due to unforeseen circumstances. The discussion of the appearance of a business being operated at 3505 Chatham St. will be removed from the agenda.
