Waste collection delayed 1 day

Due to the severe winter storm, Johns Disposal cancelled waste collection for Monday, March 16th, 2026 for the safety of their employees. Additionally, most regional landfills are closed. 

All routes are delayed one day this week. This week’s collection is now scheduled for Tuesday, March 17th, 2026. Reminder: Place trash to the curb by 7 AM on Tuesday, March 17th, 2026.

Notice of Site Visit

On Thursday, March 12th, 2026 at 8:00 AM, Premier Power, United Mechanical, and Trustee Cermak are scheduled to initialize the new generator that was recently installed adjacent to the rear entrance of Village Hall. A quorum of Trustees may or may not be in attendance.

The Village of North Bay Board of Trustees (BOT) is scheduled to meet at Village Hall (3615 Hennepin Pl) at 7 PM on Monday, March 9th, 2026. Notice of rescheduled Site Visit

Due to inclement weather, the site visit scheduled at 4:15 PM on Friday, March 6th, 2026 AM at North Bay Park on Vincennes Circle has been rescheduled to 6 PM on Monday, March 9th, 2026. The purpose of this site visit is to view current public land and coastal conditions in relation to the GZA Proposal dated March 10th, 2025  (File No 20.P000411.25) for Coastal and Landscape Architecture Services. A quorum of Trustees may or may not be present.

The purpose of this site visit is for the Public Works and Water & Wastewater Trustees to consult with an Engineer from Ayres & Associates. A quorum of Trustees may or may not be present.

2026 Village Caucus Results

On January 12th, 2026 at the Village Caucus, nominations were put forth as follows: Rich Schmitt and Paul Schroeder for Trustee #1 Public Works; Rick Cermak for Trustee #2 Water & Wastewater; Robert E. O’Brien for Village Treasurer. Three of the four nominees filed the required documents and will appear on the April 7th, 2026 Spring Election ballot.
