Holiday Refuse Collection December 26 and January 2
Monday Collections – December 26 and January 2 – are unchanged during the Christmas and New Year’s Holidays.
Nicolet Place Asphalt Laying Thurs Oct 20
Nicolet Place paving will begin on Thursday Oct 20th starting with a street cleaning in the morning followed by the actual paving. The paving should be completed by 4 pm on Wednesday.
Homeowners should park their cars on the adjacent streets Wednesday evening.
The asphalt paving is weather dependent; rain will delay the project. We will keep you up-to-date once we receive notice.

Please take notice that on October 10, 2016, the Village of North Bay enacted the following ordinance: Ordinance No. 2016-04 entitled:
AN ORDINANCE TO CREATE SECTION 7.06 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES FOR THE VILLAGE OF NORTH BAY, RACINE COUNTY, WISCONSIN, RELATING TO SANITARY SEWER USE
The ordinance updates definitions, statutory and code references in order to be in compliance with DNR requirements for sanitary sewer use.

PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that the Village of North Bay Village Board and Plan Commission will hold a joint public hearing at 7:00 p.m. on July 11, 2016, at 3615 Hennepin Place, regarding a proposed revision to Ordinance Section 8.07 pertaining to accessory buildings. A copy of the proposed ordinance will be available for public inspection, by appointment, at 3615 Hennepin Place. Racine Wastewater Ultility Household Hazardous Waste Collection date have been announced for 2016. For City of Racine, Sturtevant, Elmwood Park, North Bay, Wind Point, Mt. Pleasant and Caledonia Residents

At the election to be held on Tuesday, April 5, 2016, in the Village of North Bay, the following polling place location will be used:

THE POLLING PLACE WILL OPEN AT 7:00 A.M. AND WILL CLOSE AT 8:00 P.M.

This polling place is accessible to elderly and disabled voters.
Voting By Abesentee Ballot April 5, 2016 Election
Any qualified elector who is unable or unwilling to appear at the polling place on Election Day may request to vote an absentee ballot. A qualified elector is any U.S. citizen, who will be 18 years of age or older on Election Day, who has resided in the ward or municipality where he or she wishes to vote for at least 28 consecutive days before the election. The elector must also be registered in order to receive an absentee ballot.
TO OBTAIN AN ABSENTEE BALLOT YOU MUST MAKE A REQUEST IN WRITING.
Contact your municipal clerk and request that an application for an absentee ballot be sent to you for the, Spring Election. You may also request an absentee ballot by letter. Your written request must list your voting address within the municipality where you wish to vote, the address where the absentee ballot should be sent, if different, and your signature.
Special absentee voting application provisions apply to electors who are indefinitely confined to home or a care facility, in the military, hospitalized, or serving as a sequestered juror. If this applies to you, contact the municipal clerk.
You can also personally go to the clerk’s office or other specified location, complete a written application, and vote an absentee ballot during their hours specified for casting an absentee ballot. Please contact your municipality for their hours.
THE DEADLINE FOR MAKING APPLICATION TO VOTE ABSENTEE BY MAIL IS 5:00 P.M. ON THE FIFTH DAY BEFORE THE ELECTION, FRIDAY, April 1, 2016.
MILITARY ELECTORS SHOULD CONTACT THE MUNICIPAL CLERK REGARDING THE DEADLINES FOR REQUESTING OR SUBMITTING AN ABSENTEE BALLOT.
THE FIRST DAY TO VOTE AN ABSENTEE BALLOT IN THE CLERK’S OFFICE IS MONDAY, March 21, 2016. THE DEADLINE FOR VOTING AN ABSENTEE BALLOT IN THE CLERK’S OFFICE IS 5:00 P.M. ON THE FRIDAY BEFORE THE ELECTION, FRIDAY, April 1, 2016
THE MUNICIPAL CLERK WILL DELIVER VOTED BALLOTS RETURNED ON OR BEFORE ELECTION DAY TO THE PROPER POLLING PLACE OR COUNTING LOCATION BEFORE THE POLLS CLOSE ON TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 16, 2016. ANY BALLOTS RECEIVED AFTER THE POLLS CLOSE WILL BE COUNTED BY THE BOARD OF CANVASSERS IF POSTMARKED BY ELECTION DAY AND RECEIVED NO LATER THAN 4:00 P.M. ON THE FRIDAY FOLLOWING THE ELECTION.
